Kia is India's fourth production after the Seltos, Carnival and Sonnet cars were launched in 2019. More than 19,000 people have registered the vehicle in a month since the registration began.

Kia is offering carence with three engine options. There is also a 1.5 litre naturally aspirated petrol motor, a 1.4-litre turbo petrol unit and a 1.5-litre diesel engine.

The 1.5 litre petrol unit is added with a six-speed manual unit, the 1.4-turbocharged petrol comes with a seven-speed DCT or six-speed manual, and

Kia claims that the Cairns petrol engine delivers a mileage of up to 16.5 km. The Diesel motor gives a mileage of about 21.3 km per litre of fuel.

Buyers have three engine options to choose from: a 115hp 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol, a more powerful 140hp 1.4-litre turbo-petrol, and a 115hp 1.5-litre diesel engine.

The turbo-petrol can be optioned with a 7-speed dual-clutch auto ‘box, while the diesel is available with a 6-speed torque converter automatic.

The turbo-petrol and diesel mills are available across all variants with the 1.5 petrol limited to just the Premium and Prestige trims.
